Last minute gifts to make your holidays sparkle and glow!

If you're still looking for some last-minute gift ideas, we have some great suggestions. Shown above (and already bedecked in holiday ribbon) is the Strata Cowl kit, a fun and colorful knit from Baah Yarn which uses their Shasta, a worsted weight 100% Superwash Merino in beautiful hand-dyed colors.

We recently received a new shipment of yarns from Anzula, and they are gorgeous! The first one is Lucero, a DK-weight blend of Superwash Merino, Cashmere and Sparkling Stellina. Lucero is a dream come true because not only does it sparkle, it is also sumptuously soft and delightful to stitch. Use Lucero for any project you’d like to shine!

Shown below is Earthshine by Hilary Smith Callis knit in Lucero. It is a semi-circular shawl which is joined to work in the round to create a cowl that mimics the look of a big, squishy shawl wrapped around the shoulders.

The second yarn from Anzula, Katara, is one that will make you glow. Katara is a DK weight 50% Merino and 50% Yak blend. It is wonderful in any project that touches your skin be it a sweater, hat, cowl or scarf.

A beautiful, flattering and decadently soft hat knit in Katara is Javelina by Stephannie Tallent. The color of the hat in the photo is Natural, the actual color of the yak fiber before it is dyed

Another gorgeous pattern designed using Katara is Sokolata also by Hilary Smith Callis. Warm, calming, and rich as a cup of cocoa, Sokolata is an oversized garter stitch shawl that will soothe your soul. It would be a perfect project for January when we get the chance to knit something for ourselves.

Stocking stuffers - always the last-second purchase. Here are a few ideas:

The world-famous Shozaburo scissors are made with time-honored tradition and devotion, one pair at a time, by artisans who do not compromise on quality.

The handles of these smooth-cutting Shozaburo thread scissors are finished in modern style and wrapped in Iga braids, a material made primarily for use in armor-making since 710 AD.

The beautifully dyed silk threads are gentle on the hands, bringing about a unique texture and experience. These snipes would be a wonderful and very special gift for any knitter or crocheter.

The Gleener On the Go is a great gift even if they're not a knitter or crocheter. It removes those dreaded pills from soft knitted garments. The three abrasive edges and lint brush make it easy and safe to use on almost all fabrics.

These adjustable sock blockers are great for knitters who wash and block their socks.

They are sold in pairs that are easy to assemble.

The leg, foot, and heel are adjustable for the perfect fit.

It's a Wonderful Life December 23, 7pm - doors open at 6pm.

We are excited to be joining Park City Film to sponsor It's A Wonderful Life at the Park City Library on Monday, December 23. This will be a free screening of the beloved holiday classic. Come early for cookies, crafts, hot coco, Santa and PUPPIES! (Or just a bit of extra time to finish holiday knitting!) Doors open at 6pm.
